This is a very durable and soft cuddly toy. It is actually MUCH softer than it looks with a very silky coat. Not to mention, it is light so it is easy to carry around. It is also very plush so it squishes into tiny spaces like a back-pack on the plane. My kids each have one of these cats and they LOVE them. My son (3) sleeps with his EVERY night. The boy at his school also carries his everywhere like a cuddly blankie too. It also washes in the washing machine easily on cold.
You can't go wrong with this cat if you are looking for a darling plush toy. This kitty is totally worth the price!
Note: It is much softer than the black and white TY kitty called "Kittles" that is the same size.

The cat is soft, cute and cuddly. However, the auction page describes it as 13", and product dimensions as 19" by 11". From the tip of the nose to the end of the back side (not including tail) it is 10". If I pull the front paw and pull the back of the tail, at most it stretches to 18", but that's really stretching it! (Even the box doesn't match the measurements!) If all you want is a cute, cuddly, lightweight toy, somewhat life-like but small, this would do just fine. I was hoping, after all my comparison shopping, that it would be more life-like in size so I could practice CPR and first aid. I guess I still can, but I would have to pretend it is a kitten, not a full grown cat. I don't know what kind of educational value there would be in this product. A child would probably love carrying it around and sleeping with it - it is soft. The nose is cute and pink, and the paws are a little less squishy than the body, so it has some character. Just don't expect it to be like a real-life, regular-size cat.

"hooked on books"
Actually, we bought this adorable kitten for our aunt who is in an assisted living home. Her aged orange cat, Zip, was living there with her and recently died. She is absolutely thrilled with it. She took it out to the dining room to show her friends who used to come to visit Zip. She loves that it is so soft. A child would love it, too.

This is a really sweet, soft kitty cat from Ty. It is much bigger than I was expecting. I thought it would be Beanie Baby sized (especially since it was so cheap!), but it is probably double a BB, if not more.
The fur is super soft, like a cozy chenille blanket. My dd is in love with kitty cats, so I'm sure she will adore this. One thing I did really like is it has string whiskers, instead of those scratchy clear plastic ones. It's definitely adorable and worth the $6 I paid for it.
