Tinker StallionAug 24, 2010
By jayden robyn This is a very pretty horse. The color and paint job are well done, and he is very nice looking. The Tinker is also a Gypsy Vanner, which was interesting, since I had never heard of a Tinker before.

im a scleich fan...Dec 02, 2011
By b so this is a no brainer for me to like. i am a little old to play with them myself, but my 3year old likes to play with them and i know they are hardy enough to with stand anything (: and i love the irish cobs, but rarely are there chocolates (although there is a stallion worth over 200g!!) so idk how realistic it is for these colors of the stallion and colt
AKA a Gypsy Vanner or Gypsy CobMar 07, 2012
By Truth Be Told The gypsy Vanner was selectively bred over more than 100 years by Gypsies AKA Tinkers in England and Ireland. This draft type horse pulled their caravans in "fancy fashion" and was calm enough to be handled by children. This breed was known to work all day with minimal amounts of food and water. I believe the gypsy vanner is an offshoot from the Shire.
I purchased this model for My 3 yr. old son who wants a pony. Fortunately for us this has been a good alternative for him...for now! This schleich model is my first purchase and is perfect for his "rough and ready" play. I'd love to see schleich come out with a silver dapple paint. Yes, this is a true color for this breed!
