As a pediatric occupational therapist, I work with many children who have difficulty with handwriting. Part of the challenge is to develop a functional, comfortable grasp. The Pencil Grip is arguably the best molded grip on the market. It helps most kids to position their fingers correctly, and most find it comfortable and think it looks cool too.

"Create Something Today"
Some of the pencil grippers on the market today are just bizarre. They aren't the right angle or even ergonomic. This one is different. Read the reviews and look at the photos if you don't know how to install them properly on the pencil. Once you do, you'll find your children using the pencils more often. The pencils with the grippers become their favorites. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the directions aren't crystal clear but just look online at the photos if you have questions.

My son doesn't like to use it at all. It is too big and too slippery for younger child. It is more like adult size. It might be good for the kid above 3th grade.

I purchased this because I lost the ability to write without pain, by the time I recovered I had to learn to write with my left hand and this gripper helped to keep control of the pencil while learning to shape the letters exactly the opposite of what I was used to. I highly reccomend these to anyone having any kind of hand or wrist pain.
