Made of Cheap CardboardJul 03, 2010

The cardboard began to peel off the first time we were playing, and the colors are not as vivid as what was shown online.

beautiful puzzleAug 24, 2008
By as212 I bought this puzzle for my space unit. the kids loved it. They put it together in 3 or 4 days. the picture itself isn't exactly educational but its a nice way for the students to get a break from their work or to use during indoor recess.

Great Puzzle!Aug 03, 2010
By Michelle My 9-year old son and I enjoy doing puzzles and we have completed almost all of the 300 & 500 piece Melissa & Doug puzzles. They are challenging enough to keep us busy for an afternoon or over a few days if we prefer. The scenes are great and the puzzles are nice and sturdy. What a nice way to spend quality time with your kids and to get them away from the TV and computer!
Colorful and Fun!May 05, 2010
By Irie My 4 y.o. son loved this puzzle and enjoyed putting it together. It is educational in so far as it has the names of the planets, but is set up from the perspective of the moon, which might be confusing. I also think it's better suited for a table than the floor. However, on our table it went together easily and was very colorful to look at once completed.

fun planets!Jun 09, 2011
By Chris T. This is another 300-piece puzzle I purchased for my four-year-old daughter who needed more challenging puzzles... This along with "End of an Era" have been a great way for her to expand her puzzle piecing skills, as well as feed her interest in science ~ the planets in this case. When broken down into planets, she's able to do the puzzle by herself and really enjoys learning about the different things in space. Same as with "End of an Era", this puzzle is more challenging due to the way the picture is cut into pieces... Also, the same as the other Melissa & Doug puzzles we've purchased, some pieces need to be glued (top to the bottom cardboard) as it comes apart with every construction/breakdown. It's just what it is... Overall, very pleased with the puzzle.
