Huge and Scary AgreedDec 31, 2011
By M. Capasso I agree with the reviewer who said it was huge and scary. I was disappointed when I got it. The green is much darker than the photo and it's an ugly green. It is very big and it freaked my 2 year old girl out. It's loud and has scary movements. I put it back in the package and am not sure what to do with it. When I was a toddler my mom had a sweet little tiny wind up frog for the bath and that is what I wanted. This may be good for an older child and a boy.

So Life-like!Sep 25, 2011
By Jessica S This frog is so life-like! My 6 month old son loves following the frog with his eyes and trying to catch it in the bath tub! He is so fascinated by its smooth movement in the water! The on/off knob is a little hard to turn with wet hands, but overall it is very easy to turn on and off! I also had the same toy when I was little and remember playing with it as a child and loving it!
Don't BuyApr 13, 2012
By Golden This doesn't work very well and the battery compartment just twists open and closed so it doesn't seem very safe for water. Not nearly as much fun as I was hoping it would be.
Fun but very short-livedMar 11, 2012
By Mama gremlin :) We bought this toy while seeing it in action at the store but the toy didn't last long. Had it in the tub for 3 times and the legs stopped working. We could still hear the internal gears moving and thought the batteries may have been drained rather quickly but after replacing the batteries, the internal noise is still there but the legs do not move. What a waste of money.
Not so great...Mar 08, 2012
By TwinsMa I got three of these for my kids for Christmas as stocking stuffers. They are little bit big for that. One of the frogs was broken pretty quickly when one of my kids grabbed his legs to pick him up. It now has a broken leg.
The entire time it is in the tub it has to be running (loudly) or else water will get in the battery hold. It turns on by tightening the opening to the battery hold.
It is loud, doesn't swim very well, and is pretty big so you need a lot of space in your tub for it to swim in. I don't really suggest it.
