Cute and WimpyMar 18, 2010
By J. Kelley These boots are just plain adorable. My son loved them. Please note the use of the past tense there. The boots were worn, over a period of less than five months, for no more than a couple of hours per week. Many weeks, they weren't worn at all. The boots developed large splits in them along the sides. Both boots. The quality on these boots just isn't there. If all you need are cute boots for a very short period of time, these are great. Unfortunately, they just don't last.

Cute Boots, just wish my toddler would want to wear something else sometimesOct 03, 2010
By S. Miller There are lots of cute boots in my house, but these are the ones my toddler loves the most. She can't stop wearing them. Everyday it's "BOOTS BOOOTS BOOOOOOOTS", from 9am to 8pm. She wants to wear them in the rain, in the mud, in the sleet and in the snow. Then she wants to wear them in the toy room, on the couch and even while in her bed. It's too much, but these boots are too darn cute.
Now, onto the rating I gave these boots:
How much fun is this toy:
This is unfair because they aren't exactly a toy, but my daughter treats them like they are so I will say they are pretty darn fun.
How would you rate this toy's educational value:
Low, because they aren't exactly genius level boots. No shoe laces to tie, and they lack the ability to teach my child to read, perform complex mathematical operations or ride a bike (come on Melissa & Doug!).
How durable is this toy:
She has been wearing them non-stop since christmas of 2009, it is now almost christmas of 2010, so I'd say they are pretty darn durable. They passed the toddler test in this household.
Overall, these are some pretty cute boots, and they are fun and useful. Can't ask for much more.

Size runs bigSep 26, 2011
By D. The size of these boots runs very big. My daughter is size 7. I purchased the 6-7 boots and they are huge on her. She can barely walk with them.
I'd guess that the actual size of the 6-7 boots is 9.
Aside the size issue, the boots are very cute and lots of fun. Can't speak for their durability as we had them only for couple of weeks (so far so good).

Adorable, but run way too bigNov 20, 2011
By Lost in Austin I should have paid closer attention to the other reviews about these boots running large. My son wears a size 6 1/2 or 7 in Stride Rite shoes. I ordered the smallest size available of these boots - the 6-7. He is swimming in them. I'm guessing we are at least two sizes away from these boots fitting properly. Maybe they'll fit him just in time for summer, when he doesn't need them any more! Please be aware that the sizing of these boots is way off! Otherwise, they are very cute.

Definitely run big!Oct 05, 2011
By AlwaysSunny I got these for my 3 year old after seeing the limited selection in our local stores, and these were cheaper to boot (get it haha!)! They most definitely run big as previous reviewers have stated, I got the 10/11 Augie Alligator boots because my son is about a 10.5. Huge on him, huge. He's still able to wear them and run around just fine though. We haven't had any problems with anything coming off or apart yet, he's worn them probably about 3 times a week for the last month that it's been wet out. Time will tell I suppose, but these don't look any less well put together than the ones I've seen at Target, Wal Mart, Kohl's, etc. And they were cheaper, as noted before! All in all, I'm glad I got these but do recommend you buy a size down if your child is just in the 'beginning size' of the boot.
