AMAZING LITTLE BEARMar 19, 2010

MY EX-HUSBAND BOUGHT ME THIS LITTLE 10-INCH "SNUFFLES" (THE MEDIUM SIZE) WHEN WE STARTED DATING 25 YEARS AGO. I FOUND IT IN IT A BOX AND IT WAS DUSTY FROM ALL THE YEARS I'VE HAD IT. I PUT IT IN THE WASHING MACHINE ON GENTLE CYCLE WITH SOME LIQUID DETERGENT AND THEN PUT IT IN THE DRYER. HE CAME OUT FLUFFY AND WHITE AND AS GOOD AS NEW, AND HE LOOKS LIKE THE DAY I GOT HIM 25 YEARS AGO.
MY 16-YEAR-OLD SON LOVES THIS LITTLE BEAR SO MUCH THAT HE WANTED TO STEAL HIM TO GIVE HIM TO HIS NEW GIRLFRIEND. NO WAY. WE WENT ONLINE AND SEARCHED FOR HIM -- BY GUND -- BUT I DIDNT KNOW HE HAD A NAME AND THEY'VE BEEN MAKING THIS SAME BEAR FOR OVER 30 YEARS. AMAZING.
WE ORDERED THIS ONE -- EXACTLY LIKE MINE -- AND HIS GIRLFRIEND LOVES IT. SHE SLEEPS WITH IT EVERY NIGHT. YOU CAN SIT HIM UP LIKE IN THE PICTURE OR YOU CAN LAY HIM DOWN. HE'S ADORABLE, SOFT AND JUST SO SWEET AND THE EXPRESSION ON HIS FACE, IS LIKE LOOKING IN THE EYES OF A PUPPY OR A KITTEN. I HAVE TO SMILE EVERY TIME I LOOK AT HIM.
MY EX-HUSBAND AND I ARE NO LONGER TOGETHER. THE GUND BEAR "SNUFFLES" AND MY RELATIONSHIP LASTED LONGER THAN HIS. BUT HE IS MY ALL-TIME FAVORITE STUFFED ANIMAL. VERY WELL MADE, WILL NOT FALL APART OVER YEARS AND YEARS. OTHER STUFFED ANIMAS WEAR OUT, BUT THIS ONE IS AS BEAUTIFUL AS THE DAY I GOT HIM.
YOU WILL LOVE THIS LITTLE BEAR.

I bought this as a gift for a friend's little girl. She likes it a lot. It is huggable, cleans easily and seems to be tough enough for 2-5 year old abuse.

I had a bear exactly like this one when I was in college. A boyfriend bought it for me and I just loved it. It sat on my bed for years and I slept with it nightly until I got a dog and she chewed it to pieces. I was surprised at how heartbroken I was over the loss of my cuddly friend! I'm not sure why I never thought of replacing the bear until now, but I recently bought a pig puppet for my son from Amazon and decided to look up the Gund polar bear at the same time. The puppet and the bear arrived today and I couldn't be happier! The new bear is just as soft as I remembered and I'm thrilled that it looks exactly like the one I had many years ago. My dogs will NOT be getting ahold of this bear, that's for sure!

I was given a Snuffles when I was 7 years old, and I still have it! I have such wonderful memories of this bear that I had to get my daughter one for her first Christmas! I highly recommend this bear for ALL children!
