This is a sturdy, shiny badge. We buy Cowboy Toys from this company as often as we are given the choice. They are sturdy, hold up to long hours of play, and make a young boy feel like a true cowboy.

My son used one of my small "wallet badges" for a year or so playing the "Good Sheriff" against the bad guys (often the cats). I needed to get back my badge so he needed a badge as replacement. This sheriffs badge fit the bill, it doesn't have a pin in the back that will poke holes in his shirt but is still a metal badge that he can play around with.

I expected something cheaply made since it was so inexpensive. There's space for engraving and I am looking forward to giving this to my son. I do wish the back was a pin, not a clip, but it will be a great toy that he can keep.
