These Schleich animals are awesome. Very well painted and the kids love playing with them, as do the adults. They don't scale to each other, as the budgy is a little large compared to bigger animals, but nobody seems to mind.

The product description seems to imply this is a suitable toy for a parakeet. Or perhaps I read too much into it? These things are about one-sixth the size of an actual parakeet. They're cute and well-made, which is refreshing considering the garbage I usually get when I make the mistake of purchasing online. And I suppose if my parakeet gets falling down drunk and goes half-blind, he may decide it's an appropriate toy to play with. Otherwise, it's just a piece of plastic taking up space amongst all the other online-ordered garbage I have sitting around my house.
