We live in a Senior Citizen subdivision and we have a club house where we get together for games frequently. We all love Rummicube, however since we purchased the Large Number Edition with the new color of green, everyone wants to play with our game. We have told many people how to get one by going on line but we have never seen one in the stores. We love the large number edition with the new color of green!!

My grandmother and her friends love to play this game . . . . but couldn't due to vision changes. Now they totally can- she was surprised that the large numbers worked- very effective and fun for everyone.

My girlfriend laughed when I bought the large number edition Rummikub, but she agreed with me when we started playing with it. The tiles feel heavier in your hand and are not made of same thin cheap plastic as the original version--totally worth the few extra dollars!!! For those who do not know, Rummikub is an incredibly stimulating game, great workout for the mind and lots of fun too!!!!

We were introduced to Rummikub one night at friends'. And what a fun time we had playing! My elderly aunt had spoken of this game, having enjoyed it with friends, but it wasn't until our exposure one evening that I finally came to appreciate just what she enjoyed so much about this game. We slowly began to pick up some of the strategies of the game through our play. Afterwards, I went into Amazon, and I ordered this edition of the game for our own enjoyment. Well, just the other night we opened the game, sharing it with the same guys who had introduced us to Rummikub. The tiles are large and sturdy and easy to read (the difference in color 'tween the blue and green numbers could be just a bit more pronounced), and we enjoyed four or five rounds of the game, becoming just a bit more proficient at play over our initial introduction. I understand games are making a comeback; that's great news, in particular for families looking for an activity to share, young and older, and Rummikub is the perfect way to bring family together through a game that does offer some challenge and competition.

This is really a nice Rummikub set. The tiles are heavy and each of them feels like a domino - not lightweight and "plasticy". The numbers are big and easy to read and the colors really stand out - a nice bright green; a bright, almost turquoise blue; black and a nice bright red. It is really easy to tell one color from another.
I'm very pleased with the quality of the tiles, some of the recent Rummikub games we've purchased for others as gifts have had very lightweight tiles. These ones are nice and heavy and solid.
I don't really like the style of racks in all the newer Rummikub games - they are sturdy but the tiles are in the open so everyone knows how many tiles the other players have left. My husband and I still prefer to play with the old style racks where you can't see how many tiles the other players have.
