Just the fact that when I bought it the shipping was more than double the price for the nose was a warning. It came in a sticky case/cardboard display. I opened it up and it was covered in some kind of white powder. It took about 10 minutes to pull apart the knotted string, and then I realized the light did not work. I put it on, and within 5 minutes the string broke. The only good that came out of this is that it doesn't break (correction: the nose broke as well.) Horrible product, would not buy from this company ever again.

I received mine completely dead on arrival. I tugged on the strings to no avail -- the blinking light does not come on and Rudolf's nose was not bright at all. Luckily, Amazon is great about returns.

I ordered three of the reindeer noses, obviously for three small children in our family. We thought they would be fun for them at our Christmas party. The "noses" didn't make it through the night. Needless to say, we were all disappointed!

My daughter used this last Christmas for a Christmas show we had at dance. She was Rudolph in one of the dances. It was SO cute and stayed on well, even with her leaping and spinning. AND...it still works, so she might even wear it again for the show this year.

The flashing nose arrived very fast. However, after wearing it one time in the play "Rudolf" the batteries inside the nose losened and the nose did not light up any more. My son used the nose for 1/2 hour during the play.
