look great on the ceiling and really do glow!Nov 12, 2008
By violinmom I actually bought this very same package at TJ Maxx (for less than $4) and am very pleased with them! I looked online first at Amazon, but I didn't want to pay the shipping, so I looked around at local stores for them. They are awesome, and were no trouble at all to put up. I thought I'd have trouble, since my grandson's ceiling is the old popcorn type, but I had no difficulty as long as I used enough of the tacky stuff. For the two largest stars you'll want to use a small pea size glob. The different sizes of stars work great, for it lets you create the illusion that the stars are fading into the distance. You just stick the largest ones closest and as you move away you use smaller and smaller stars. We put them over my grandson's bed in hopes it would keep him in his bed until he fell asleep (he's 2). They look so neat in the dark, and in the daytime we really don't even notice they are up there (the ceiling color is off white). They glow quite well and last for quite a long time. I'm totally pleased with them.

Pretty goodJan 26, 2011
By Megan Gave enough putty to stick all 75 on the ceiling, and seem to stick well. Of couse, about 70-80% of the stars were very tiny. The very tiny ones tend to not glow very bright or last very long, but these are better than other glow stars I've seen.

Constellations in a boxDec 15, 2010
By Maxwell T. Sandford Spend a little time with a star chart and put the constellations onto the ceiling with proper orientation to relative sizes and to cardinal directions. At bedtime it is wonderful to go through them all reinforcing the patterns that match the constellations one sees in the night sky. They glow just long enough for naming them off in a brief sky tour on the way to dreamland.
Stick the stars to the ceiling using poster putty that is available at stationery stores. It takes only a small bit to hold each star and can be removed without damage to either the star or the ceiling.
They don't glowOct 24, 2011
By Jaclyn's Amazon Unfortunately, even after "charging" the stars for a few days, they only glow for about 10-15 minutes and during that time they fade away. It was a disappointment purchasing the stars, but not worth returning a $7 product.
