Perfect for my third grade class students to use to write or talk about what they read.
A Work In ProgressFeb 14, 2012
By Celia I bought these as a gift for my friend's daughter who is struggling in school with reading comprehension. The girl is clever and if you ask her what she just read, she can't for the LIFE of her remember what it was, but she tries! Usually making up a story that has very little to do with the topic at hand.
At any rate, these cubes have already helped her focus on her homework and she's better about summarizing what she's reading. It's still a little difficult to get her to concentrate, but she's 8 for cryin' out loud!
I would recommend these to anyone who feels their child needs a little push in the right direction.
Also, be sure to show their teacher what you're working with at home so they can let you know if it's an actual overall improvement.

By Maria Timotheatou I got these or helping my daughter with homework. It did not work of us. Most of the questions were not questions that we or the teacher would go over. It is just easier to open a discussion with her over the story and concentrate where we have too, than playing with the cubes
