this sweetpea sparkly light pink piggy paint is one of the 4 bottles of piggy paint we own (red "sometimes sweet", purple "midnight pansy", blue "sea quin") and i have to say, it's a LOT lighter than it looks on the screen. it comes out looking more like a pearlescent light, light, pale, shimmery pink. i was looking for something with a little bit more pigment and just ordered the forever fancy pink. the other piggy paints we own are pretty well pigmented. i didn't want to rate it lower just because the color was so light - you NEED at LEAST 2 coats of this stuff (and any other piggy paint you purchase) to get any sort of wear longer than a day or two.

I got this for my 2.5 year old daughter. She's been showing an interest in nail polish when adults get theirs done but I didn't want to put anything toxic on her or anything that I would need nail polish remover to get it off. This sounded like the perfect option. She sits very still while I put it on. I wasn't sure if at her age she'd be willing to do that or not. But she gets very excited about it and asks everyone including Daddy to put it on both her fingers and her toes. It last a reasonable amount of time (a day or two). I'm glad it doesn't last too long since I don't want to have to remove it with remover. The color is very light, lighter than what it looks like in the picture. But I think it's perfect for a little girl and she just loves it.
