Fun for 3 and under, don't buy it for the slideAug 02, 2008
By mom of 2 boys, 1 girl, and 1 basset hound My son is 3 years old and he loves this pool. He is a big kid, he wears a size 5T, just so you know, but he cannot use the slide. Actually, my 20-pound baby daughter also cannot use the slide. It is pretty much worthless, so don't buy it for that. It can't hold up even a baby, and even if it could, it's plastic so it isn't slippery even with water on it. However, the rest of the pool is very nice, and I like that it has a little square section that you can have a little more shallow for a younger one. She's kind of protected in there from the splashings of the older one. It's a relatively large pool for a kiddie pool, too. And it's very nice that it also can be a sprinkler if you want. You blow up the sides with air, and you can just leave it that way or you can add a hose and the outer walls become sprinklers. All in all, it's a very nice pool and we're happy with it. The palm tree actually stands up pretty well too. Just make sure to point the leaves down instead of up, that helps it stand.

Great pool for little onesJul 06, 2009
By Twin Mom in Texas We bought this pool for our 16 month old twins. They LOVE it. It is a nice size - roomy enough for 5. I can't imagine blowing it up manually, but it inflates in under 2 minutes using the air compressor. It has nice size drain plugs that are difficult enough to open that the kids can't get it open "accidentally." The part behind the slide is a separate compartment that can be filled independantly from the rest of the pool so it can be made deeper or more shallow.
Having aired the slide up via aircompressor it worked fine with wet kids and the sprinkler jets on for our 25-28lb kids. They slid so well that it would have been nice if the end of the slide was a little further from the edge of the pool.
The edge height is great - high enough to fill the pool up 6 inches or so, but low enough that the kids can still easily get out on their own.
The sprinkler jets have a built in control valve which is nice as it keeps you from having to run back and forth to the hose valve. Keep in mind though that the water is under pressure so it takes some time for the water to respond to changes. It is also hard to adjust the valve in small increments (we wanted it up just a little, but kept getting it too high or too low when making adjustments. We also have a section of sprinklers that tends to spray out instead of in the pool, but that might have something to do with the fact that the area isn't 100% level.
I can't speak to longevity as we have only had it for a couple of weeks, but thus far it seems to be holding air well (we haven't even had to top it off). Even if we had to replace it every summer for the price and amount of time we have spent in it it would be well worth it.
Overall - really great buy. Wish I had bought this one first!

Great, but leaks air.Aug 25, 2010

I LIKE many aspects of this pool: 1. Great SIZE. 2. I love the HEIGHT of the edges: my 20 month old could easily get in and out over it. 3. The SPRINKLER is a cherry on top, really! 4. The TOYS that come with it are great, but the pool itself was so entertaining for my two kids (20mths and 3yrs), that they couldn't care less about them - well, maybe next year, or in the tub during winter months.
A few things I DON'T LIKE: 1. The LEAKING PROBLEM. Since day one it was constatly leaking air. I had to "refresh" it every day in the beginning of the summer, after 2 months I had to do it twice a day (!). I found a tiny puncture and have just sealed it, so I hope this will solve the problem. However, it leaked on day one, when no one even used it. So I'm not sure whether it was a factory problem or mine. 2. I wish the SLIDE was NOT prememently ATTACHED to the little square splash pool area, because cleaning under it to keep the pool from growing bacteria is close to impossible. I'm tempted to cut that non-inflatable strip between the slide and the "wall" to get access. I'll have to figure out if it's going to affect the funtionality of the slide first, though.

A solution for holesMay 23, 2011
By T. K. Finley I bought this pool for my 19 month old daughter. I was a little hesitant because there were several reviews claiming that their product had arrived with holes in it. Well I took a chance on it just being their mishandling of the product and perhaps they were the ones creating the holes. This is not the case! The much anticipated pool arrived, and I immediately went and filled it up with the air compressor. My little girl was very excited. We started to fill up the pool...within minutes I noticed the palm tree was beginning to droop and my heart sank. Sure enough, within the hour the entire thing was flat. I had been very careful upon opening the package and also had a bought a tarp to place the pool upon to keep it from being punctured by anything on the ground. I was very angry. To add to my frustration I need to mention that the bottom of this pool is very slick. I had not read this in previous reviews, and felt I should mention it. My little girl and both of her friends continually fell in the pool until I bought some of those skid stickers for the bathtub and placed in the bottom of it. Ok back to the main issue. My dad had showed me an old trick one time..you put soapy water in a squirt bottle and spray all over the inflated parts of the pool after you have inflated it, and tada, everywhere there is a hole it forms bubbles and makes a whistling sound. Upon doing this to my 3 hour old pool and after patching 9 holes with the handy dandy patch that comes with the pool I felt we were ready for a test drive. I reinflated the pool and added the water and it has been two weeks and still no problems. My daughter loves, loves, loves this pool and it really is perfect for what she needed at home. However if you purchase this item be prepared to put 2-3 hours into patching the holes. Other than that I have no complaints. Oh and I read on some reviews that the slide was useless, but I filled this pool up with an air compressor and my little one weighs 32 lbs and the slide works great.

This pool has all the bells and whistlesSep 17, 2010
By Sara No matter how small you picture this pool to be, its a little smaller. Which in my opinion is a good thing, unless you are trying to pack a dozen kids in it. However, three or four kids, have a great time. The pool comes with the slide, palm tree, 2 inflatable animals, an inflatable floating coral and some rings to toss. Plug in the house and the pool spouts dozens of four feet high streams of water. If you have an air compressor, set up is quick, and all the parts do fill properly and stand up. It might as well be a water park for all the fun and excitement it generates. We've left it outside in the elements with kids bouncing in and out of it for the past two months, and it's held up.
The only downside is that it my kids never want to get out.
