Decent sound, but wearing them hurts after awhileOct 22, 2008
By Nathan Harris The Nintendo DS Lite headphones have fairly decent sound quality, but each time I wear them for around 45 minutes they begin to hurt my ears. By that time, I can't take wearing them anymore. The discomfort comes from the ear clasps that keep the headphones on the ears. Since there is a pivot point on the clasp, each headphone can be adjusted some by pulling outward on the headphone itself when on the ear. This adjustment helps the discomfort level a little, but not near enough for me. Another problem with these headphones is that they make your ears stick out too much, which makes you look kind of silly. Maybe these headphones work better on a younger person, but I wouldn't chance it if I were you. If I had to do it over again, I would buy a regular type of headphones.

Decent headphones at a good priceFeb 08, 2009

Someone else had hinted at how this product hurt their ears. Well, it doesn't hurt mine. I had a pair before these and they lasted me for about a year and a half. The sound quality is top notch. In many ways you get what you pay for because eventually they will need to be replaced. Over time the rubber on the wire can wear out and expose the covered wires, removing sound from one speaker. Also the foam over the speaker sometimes may come off. This is can be fixed by simply putting it back on. Nonetheless this can get rather bothersome after a while. Despite those problems, these headphones deserve a fair rating since it still does last a fairly long time for its price and the quality is good for it's price. If you need headphones for your DS , pick these up.

These headphones are perfect for children as their ears are not quite big enough to keep "in-ear" (ear buds) from falling out. These headphones have good sound quality and work well for portable gaming. Originally purchased for my Daughter's Nintendo DS, they also work well with her SONY PSP. I also like the idea of having the speaker outside and not in her ear as I believe children do not understand the importance of keeping the volume at an appropriate level. A great price for a top quality product.

By Paul S. Randazzo This product is great. Especially when you are on a plane and you don't want to bug anyone.

Guitar Hero On Tour Headphones! Ewww!Feb 03, 2009

Okay I have Guitar Hero On Tour Headphones and personally I dislike Guitar Hero with a passion at the time when Game Stop was selling accessory kits I was looking at the most reliable accessory kit that would best fit my needs. I like the carrying case and the clothe to wipe off the screen only because of the design and the flames on the cover. Oh and the padding in the case basically they designed the case to last for a long time. Nice carrying case.
The headphones them selves work pretty well on my cassette player and cd player. Not to great at all on my Crimson and black Nintendo DS Lite though. Big disappointment. I have to keep pushing in the little amp thing that goes in the the little headphone hole on my ds. Not real thrilled about that. Neatless to say after a very brief and short time I stopped using this on my ds and quickly starting using it on my cassette player and cd player.
Sorry to anyone who likes Guitar Hero not trying to offend anyone but personally I just really don't like Guitar Hero.
If I want to jam on my ds these are the ds games I play:
Alvin and the chipmunks
Looney Tunes: Cartoon Conductor
those two are my alternate Guitar Hero games. They ROL (Rock Out Loud) for those of you who never heard the expression before.
Big disappointment even more so because there Guitar Hero don't buy these headphones unless you like Guitar Hero.
