I bought these to use in our classroom circus act. After 2 days (that's approximately an hour's use), they began to unravel. The "rope" part is really strips of plastic fused together, which when unraveled, look like neon spaghetti flapping in the wind... No wonder you get 12 for less than a dollar a piece.

I had no ideal these jump ropes were made of plastic, my grandbabies were very upset to say the least. The 5 year old made a statement that was very true. "Grams when it breaks we have 11 more". It didn't take long for them to break; they started with twelve and an hour later they are down to 3??? Not worth the money.

Package comes with twelve jump ropes with a different assortment of colors. However, the jump ropes break extremely easily, so be warned.

This pack of 12 is great for inexpensive toys or if you're having an event where you need multiple jump ropes. They're fun colors. Not meant to be super heavy duty so it wont last too long but it will work for a while. Great idea if you're planning an exercise day for kids or going to try and have a jump rope contest.

The jump ropes are colorful and a great buy, but...they are very light weight. My 9 year old was smart enough to twist two together to make them work. Received very quickly and as stated in the description, 5 stars for customer service!
