 Fabulous - but NOT for under 10-12 years oldDec 18, 2010

This toy is well-made and easy to carry and put away. Lots of supplies and I would definitely buy it again - if it were for a much older child than I bought it for (a 7 year old). The box says for 6 and above, but if a kid can figure it out at that age, then she should be enrolled in MIT. Child's mom and I sat down with the directions and wove a complicated combustion of colored strings (loop one over two, now three over 5, now.....). The child ended up getting bored and walking away as mom and I figured things out. If your kid can read and comprehend well and is somewhat talented in crafts, I highly reccomend this toy. If your kid is under 10, I wouldn't try it unless you, yourself, are interested in completing the project.

This is an excellent product! I bought this for my 8 year-old daughter. It was perfect she was able to use this with very little instruction and has made 3 bracelets since. She is almost ready for the more difficult patterns. It is really great to find a toy that is educational and promotes creativity that my child loves!
I will buy this product again to give as a gift!

My daughter had been begging for this for weeks. o
Once it was ordered and arrived she stayed busy for hours on end. The instructional video was very specific and helped her make beautiful bracelets for her friends. She loves it!

Love the product and is easy to use...but does anyone have any problems with the bracelets curling as they get longer? Ours never lays flat.

I got this for my 10 year old daughter, it is tricky at first, it says 8 year olds. However for a child that young a parent or older child should help. it is very nice, although we have not tried any of the other friendship bracelet maker designs. I love that the patterns are free, and you can watch them on utube. The clip should have a stronger spring or some sort of a latch. Over all it is a very nice design.
