great quality puzzle, and it was FUN!Jul 13, 2010 i build two-three puzzles a week, and thot i might learn something from this one.
this is my favorite one so far! the 600 pieces must all be a different shape - no cookie-cutter used here...
so pieces may overlap, making it more interesting.
there are cute little graphics all over the puzzle, most are numbered. that's what all the writing is for - you can look up what type of whale lives in that area, or the culture related to that number, etc.
problem is, my eyes are pretty bad, and i would have to use a magnifying glass to read all that little print.
but i finished it today, took it apart, and am going to build it again starting later tonight! it was that much fun!
this time i'll read more on each piece to learn more about the countries and the world.
it has no borders for countries or nations.
it's quality construction, from the box it's in, to the material for the puzzle. i think it's even made from recycled paper.
A good mapJan 17, 2010 I bougt this for my 6th grader. She likes it - the 600 pices are quite a chalinge

Not what I hoped forNov 22, 2009 I was looking for a map puzzle that would teach the borders and names of countries. This map did not do it for me.

LOVED THIS!Jun 21, 2009 My three homeschooled kids (12, 10 and 10) loved this puzzle. I would read to them and they would work on it ... at first it was difficult for them but as they went along they really got into it. They were asking/begging to do it. Took us about 7 to 10 days with hours spent each day. My kids and I definitely learned geography - Absolutely fantastic and a great price. For the first time in my life, I bought puzzle glue - we're saving this one!

Fun and education put togheterJan 21, 2009 My grandson loves maps and jigsaw puzzles. So, while he plays with a toy he likes, he learns geography.
