Pretty Cool, But Top Didn't FitMay 17, 2011
By Frank Privlidge
"DeMon Spencer"
I got this as a gift for my mom and purchased another one for my dad as Christmas presents. Everything looked like the picture shown, but the wood top didn't fit. It was a curved piece of wood and looked out of place when I tried to put it where it was supposed to fit snuggly on top. Other than that, it was pretty cool.
Great giftFeb 19, 2012
By Tiffany I bought this as a birthday present for my Father-inlaw and it arrived a few days early. so I solved it stuffed it with his favorite candy and gave it to him... what I forgot though was ( I love puzzles ) and I wanted to solve it again so in the car ride to see him I was playing with it.. I know I'm terrible... and I had just about solved it when we got there.. What I forgot though was to move the ball back and make it more complicated he opened it in 10 seconds because I was too excited for it O.o He laughed and then started over from scratch... fun game
Entertaining and usefulJan 11, 2012
By Nelson C I ordered three of these mazes for Christmas to give to nephews and nieces. I solved them, stuffed candy and gift cards in them, then closed them up again. (The maze has to be re-solved after it is closed.) The recipients all seemed to enjoy their gifts. However, one of the three mazes had a sticky cover and had to be pried open each time the maze is solved. With the other two, the cover pops open when the maze is solved. The wooden box makes for a nice display case when the maze is not being played with.
14 yr old niece gave up...Dec 28, 2011
By Tim and for that, well done. She had to ask her puzzle-savy mother for help. I witnessed the solving of this puzzle a few times; each time it was reset. So I can vouch for this puzzles durability, at least through 5 or so attempts. Also, the box looked great and was all the same color. I feel bad for the buyer who got the mismatched lid because this present looks more expensive than it is. Glad I bought it. Will look for similar and more difficult versions as she gets older. One engineering complaint, not that anyone here will care, but the latch has to be pushed in one direction by the ball in order to unlock. On the other side is an escape chute. But you could get the ball up the wrong side and if you tried to slide the slider then, you could break the latch. Perhaps this is the complaint others have had. A fair one. Perhaps it should have been double angled.

Good gift but...Jun 14, 2011
By Zero Raven It's a nice gift a little misleading though as its not really cherry its just stained to look like it someone can correct me if I'm wrong and if so i will adjust my review. But besides that it's great as a gift funny to watch them try to get the ball through the maze to get the prize.
