My children (1 1/2 and 3 1/2) both love playing with Create-a-Scene sets. We have 3 of them (farm, zoo and ocean) and they have enjoyed them for hours. They are great for travel and taking on visits to Grandma. We had other, less sturdy versions of these toys (like Colorforms) and ended up throwing them out. Eventually (after much use), even these sets come apart at the seam, and the pieces no longer adhere well to the boards, but $... for a year's worth of play is a good value.

Wonderful toy for imaginative play! Magnetic scene is large (plenty of room for animals)and the magnets themselves are realistic. My three year old loves to play with this toy and it usually holds her intesest much longer than other toys with blinking lights/sound/talking toys! The magnets have held up surprisingly well even after accidentally getting wet! Great toy...highly recommended!

We got this for my almost-two year old daughter to take on a long ride. She played with it for about 20 minutes straight (pretty long for that age!). But the best part is that almost a year later she still becomes engrossed playing with it. The magnets are pretty strong too so that they stick well to the board - unbelievably we still have all the pieces!! She also likes to put the magnets on the fridge for a larger play surface. I highly recommend for parents of toddlers/preschooler especially as a travel game since it is thin and easy to transport. I am actually browsing amazon now to buy a second one for an upcoming trip.

The item was received in good shape, NEW. Item was purchased for our Speech/Language Pathologist for one of our elementary schools. Speech/Language Pathologist would have preferred the felt type but it's a great product for the price and does the job. Thank you
