Description:

This police motorcycle rocker interacts with toddlers with lights and sounds. The child turns the key to start up the "engine," and hears motorcycle sounds as they rock. The longer they rock, the more sounds they hear, including sirens and lights. As the child slows down and stops rocking, the engine noises slow down and eventually stop. Buttons let the child independently activate the sounds, play "police" messages, and light up the dashboard.

Batteries included. Replace with 3 "AA" alkaline batteries (not included).

Features:

Child activated rocker

Rocking action activates sounds and lights

Dash buttons activate shounds and lights

Batteries included

5Not so educational, but great fun!Apr 15, 2002
By Stephanie Mooney "reednowensmommy"
My son received this rocker from Grandma and Grandpa for Christmas when he was 15 months old. It was hands-down his favorite gift. He tried to sit on it before we even got it out of the box, and continued to sit on it while opening the remainder of his gifts (he only opened a few more, then decided that nothing was going to be as much fun as the rocker, and gave up, leaving me to open the rest of his packages). It is well balanced; my son rocks VERY hard on it, and has never tipped it over. Also, the buttons are easy for little fingers to push (babies sometimes have trouble pushing buttons on toys that are too stiff, not a problem with this toy). He thinks the lights are great, and usually pushes that button repeatedly. When he first learned what all the buttons did, every time we'd praise him for something, he'd run to the rocker, and push the button that says, "Mission accomplished, Good job!" After almost 4 months of constant use, it still looks brand new, even though my son likes to push it around the room, and crash it into things. He still rides it daily, and begs to take it to Grandma's when we go for the day (which I always allow, since she bought the thing. Let her listen to the siren all day! =]) It fits great in the backseat of the car (I'm sure it would fit in the trunk if not for the stroller, booster seat, and other junk back there), and doesn't take up too much floor space. A great buy!

5Wise investment for your kid's play and exercise valueOct 19, 2003
By A. Ryan "Merribelle"
We bought this sturdy, molded plastic rocker for my 18 month-old boy earlier this year when we noticed that he had to spend time indoors during several "energy spurts" in the late afternoon hours. It turned out to be the ideal choice for keeping him occupied and getting a little exercise in while playing in the living room. True, the siren sounds can get a little irritating, but that's easy enough to fix with a turn of the "key".
The reason I got this rocker over other more traditional types is that it is 1. Low to the ground - no tipping ! and 2. Darn near unbreakable, at least the essential parts that count. If the little plastic lights and sirens were to break (hasn't happened yet), I don't imagine the kids would notice or care; it's just too much fun to rock wildly until you master the "carpet scoot" across the room. Even my 4 year-old hops on occasionally while watching his TV shows.
Great product for anybody with children from one through the preschool years.

(Here's a tip: don't apply the decorative stickers, they'll just wear/tear off anyway!)

4Great eye appeal!Dec 23, 2002
By S. Lipson
As with most little tikes stuff, this is incredibly sturdy and durable. This rocker cycle's appearance is very enticing and it is equally fun. It is one of a few toys in our house that always holds the greatest desire of any boy or girl who visits. My sole complaint is that the realistic siren sound is very loud. It didn't scare or seem to bother my boys, but I tire of it at times. If your child turns the ignition key on and rocks away eventually the motor runs faster and louder and the siren starts alarming. I've had this toy for about a year and a half and just recently the batteries need to be changed-but I'm in no hurry to do it!

5Quite Addicting!May 11, 2004
By Jennifer Miller "Jenny Miller"
My son received this as a gift for his first birthday - and he rode it ALL day. I felt bad b/c he wasn't interested in his other gifts. It makes the coolest sounds, and the harder you rock it the more "revving" the cycle makes. When you reach "Maximum" speed....the sirens come on. He goes crazy over this thing! It's a great toy. I would recommend it to anyone!

4Toughly made, fun to useMar 18, 2003
By D. M. Farmbrough "Dave Farmbrough"
This is great! Our one year old has had hours of fun with this, pushing the buttons, listening to the noises and rocking it to and fro. He hasn't quite got the hang of sitting on the seat yes, but it will come. The bike is very sturdy and although eventually the batteries will run down and the mechanism will fail, the bike will still be useable as a rocker.

It's a modern version of a rocking horse, except made in the thick plastic Little Tikes tend to use. It has an ignition key which can be turned by little hands, which makes a starting sound and keeps going for about twenty seconds. If however the child rocks the bike, the ignition sound keeps on going and eventually the siren sounds. What fun! There are also buttons to push for a crowd noise, a whistle and dog bark, siren, motor rev, plus a couple of others. The flashing lights look really good. The only criticism I could make is that the places for the child to put his feet could have been wider.
I would not class this as an educational toy, it's just for fun, and what a lot of fun it is!
