My son (age 3 & 1/2) loves his superhero cape! He thinks it's Batman even though it's a spider on the back. He doesn't care. I like it because I wanted a cape that had a velcro attachment on the collar. That way if the cape gets caught on something or some jealous little kid tries to pull it off, he won't choke. It will just open up & come off. And that way he can wear it to daycare. They don't even allow scarves, they are so afraid of kids choking. I haven't tried washing it yet so I don't know how it washes though I would probably hand wash in cold water. I did have to tell my son that it was for "pretend flying" only. I'm very safety-conscious.

My grandson is 6. He loves this cape. First thing he does is put this on when he comes over. Also bought the reversable mask to go with it. The mask and cape are sturdy and soft, comfortable to wear. Havent wash it yet, but doesnt appear that it will be a problem

My grandson loves costumes and has 2 Spider Man costumes but Spidey doesn't have a cape. I saw this cape and thought it would be fun for him to have. He really likes it and now looks like a cross between Spider Man and Superman :) He enjoys wearing it and that's good enough for me. Since it does close around his neck he only wears it in the house.

I got one of these capes for all the young kids I need to buy a Christmas gift for. Everyone loves them! Good quality for a decent price!

I bought this cape for my 6-year-old son. He's been playing with it for a couple of months now. This is actually one of the nicer capes I have seen. I love that it's reversible and the material is a really nice color and texture.
The Velcro closing around the neck bothers him though. He has to put it on "just so", so that the Velcro does not touch his neck.
Overall, a great cape. I do not regret this purchase.
