Nintendo DS version has problemsSep 07, 2010 This program has a serious, repeatable problem. It causes the Nintendo to "freeze" during game 2 level 5 very consistently (on three different Nintendos: two are DS Lites, one is a DSi XL). I have found this problem on three different copies of this game.
I found that by doing a System Update on a Nintendo DSi XL, the game can be played to completion (ie, it FIXED this freezing problem on the DSi XL.) Unfortunately, it cannot be fixed on the older Nintendo DS Lites.
I would NOT recommend this game for a DS Lite. I would also warn users of the DSi XL that they need to do a System Update if they plan to play to completion (this requires a connection to the Internet in order to work.)
I have made Amazon, Nintendo and Lucas Arts aware of this problem. Hopefully, one of these organizations can solve it.
You can't ask for much more for under $20.Sep 03, 2010 This is a great game if you like challenging games, but are easily frustrated when you get stuck. You can't really die. You just lose some of your money ("Lego studs"), most of which you can get back before it disappears. My advice: don't rush through the levels. Part of the fun of this game is breaking and blowing up all of the props on screen to collect studs. If you are just looking to "beat the game," you shouldn't have any trouble. However, there are a ton and I mean a ton of hidden secrets to uncover. The only downside to this is that you'll have to replay all of the levels, but with different characters. This can get tedious. Also, as mentioned by other reviewers, if you sit down to play, make sure you can commit a decent amount of time. You can only save after completing a level, which, on average can take an hour or more if you take time to explore. Overall though a very fun game and highly recommended for the affordable price.
Cool!Aug 25, 2010 Well this is now my second LEGO game. Recently, I had bought LEGO Batman and was enjoying it so much that I went and bought LEGO Indy and LEGO Star Wars II The Original Trilogy. Star Wars is still on it's way, but I have LEGO Indy and played a few levels yesterday. It is soo fun! It has good graphics, neat environments, good gameplay, and really good music like right out of the Indy movies. So if you are a LEGO fan and really like the Indy movies, this is a no-brainer..get it! lol
Great game Kids love it!Aug 18, 2010 I thought a lego game would be boring but it has lots of excitement and adventure just like the movie!! The kids love playing this and surprised that it is the favorite wii game. Challenging in the upper levels which is nice!
Get it your tikes will love it too!

Fun game, howeverAug 17, 2010 Its a very fun and entertain game however, this is a port from the X-box. The controls should have been redone with the PC in mind. Using the keyboard or a non-X-box controller is very ocward at times, especially when jumping diagonally. The game does work with a Xbox controller but, I am not going to dish out another 40 dollars for a 20 dollar game!!
My other complain is that the game camera doesn't turn, you are stuck with one view of the game environment. This is really annoying when you have to jump toward yourself!!!
That being said I would give the game a 8 out of 10.
