These are adorable and my kids loved them, but there were two problems. One, the laces don't fit all the animals, so you come up short on the larger ones, which really disappointed my 4 year old. Second, these are made of stiff cardboard, but they are definitely not child proof. My 3 year old got frustrated and easily bent the lion, ruining it.
That being said, if you don't have a little destroyer like my 3 year old, these should hold up just fine! They are very good for building fine motor skills and while I suggest getting some longer laces, this is a good, educational toy.

Good, sturdy materials, hard to pack and put away needs better packaging, like a box with a lid.
Colorful and attractive holds a child's attention, easy repetition skills with a big "I did it!" when they finish.

the cards are thin and pretty flimsy, the laces are too short to lace the card, also the laces are too fat to fit through the holes smoothly causing additional wear on the card,
disappointed they were only printed on one side and white on the other, for a toy that is held in hand and viewed from all sides, these cards are almost disposable, the giraffe that I bought the set for is nearly trashed in one day,,
