 Good Quality GlovesMay 09, 2011

I picked these gloves because of reviews saying they fit smaller hands. My daughter is 3.5 yrs old and they were HUGE on her. That said, in another year or two these will be great for helping me dig in the garden. Not as cute as some gloves out there, but the same quality suede and thick canvas of my gloves, which means they will last and protect her hands while helping me.

My son (2) has lots of fun using his new gloves- he loves to use them in the dirt and can help handle the mulch also- keeps his hands safe!

These gloves are very sturdy, well-stitched and the leather is quite soft, unlike some leather gloves which can be stiff and difficult to manipulate the fingers. These gloves are perfect for working in both dry and wet soil without worry of soaking through. While a little large for a toddler, they would definitely fit a 4-5 yr old comfortably. These gloves will last your 'favorite little gardener' a long time.

I bought a whole collection of these gardening tools for my daughter's fifth birthday and little did I know they would turn out to be the favorite gift of the party. She could not wait to finish opening presents before she started playing with this stuff.
