Very Sturdy SwingsetDec 29, 2008

I bought this for my 1 year old grandson. I looked everywhere for a simple sturdy swing frame that we could put a baby swing on that would last him until he's older. The other small swingsets are flimsy. I feel it's worth the price & has other things you can buy separately as the child gets older. Read description carefully. It only comes with the 2 swings, not the glider.

The multiplay swing set arrived timely but was missing part of the equipment advertised in the picture. Because I failed to search deep into the research of the swingset, I didn't see that the two person swing was not included, nor was it advertised as an extra. Had I wanted only two swings, I could have order a set for $319.
I have written to Kettler three times and to Amazon twice to reconcile this issue and at least find out the cost of the missing piece of equipment. To date I have heard NOTHING!
If you plan to purchase anything from this company, read very carefully and dig deep for the information. It is a pain to return this item and I will never order anything else from them or thru Amazon because they HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

After much research, we chose this for our big-kid swingset. It was so easy to put together -- in contrast to reviews of wooden playsets which can take days, this one set up in an hour or two. And that was in freezing Indiana weather with gloves, so it would probably go faster without gloves. =)
The swing seats aren't too narrow; I even fit on them. We ordered the glider separately, and it's well-made, too.
This will hold up for years and provide some great swing time.

Although the it seems pricy for what it is, it is a strong and well built swing set. I did lots of research on sets before purchasing and decided on this one for its reputation and simplicity. My kids like it, ages 4 and 2 and use it each day. I elected to not purchase the glider suggested in the picture or the companion toddler swing and purchased another popular company's toddler swing for my 2 year old and it fits great; the swing connections are very universal. I gave this set 4 stars because adding additional components to this swing set it EXTREMELY expensive. That is the only downside in my mind. I highly recommend this one, it will last your family years!

Excellent swing set for the moneyJul 12, 2009

We purchased this swing set for our son's 2nd birthday, and we are really happy we did. We were considering galvanized swing sets for durability, but could not afford the price and this was a good compromise compared to what you can find at department stores. The paint colors look very bright. It was very easy to put together. The only things I would suggest for improvement are that the 4 anchors that came with the set should be stronger for them to be usable for anchoring with concrete to the ground. It would also be nice if the empty slot came pre-drilled for a third swing. Besides those two minor things, it is an excellent product, and high quality construction for the price.
