Amazon says ages 5-10. Box says 8 & up.
7 yr old loved it. Read a lot of it himself and was able to do some of the experiments himself. I think the behavior of magnets is especially concrete, fun & "magical" for the kids.

My daughter has hours of fun with this toy or rather science kit. There are lot of small experiments to understand concepts in magnetism. It is definitely worth for kids to play with this sort of experiments at early age. Highly recommend.

I found this to be overpriced ! I was expecting much more and was really disappointed. My 7 year old went through this in a day and is no longer interested in it. Do not get this if you really want something that your kid will play for days.
