We ordered these scissors for an open house ribbon cutting at our school. They really show up well in the photos. Remember they are just for looks....they don't really cut.

This is a useful prop for staging any photo of a ribbon cutting or other event where an oversize object adds viewer value. I don't know how it might be used as a "toy" or in other educational applications. The price is right...and about 5% of what metal scissors cost.

Item was as described. Arrived very quickly. Perfect timing. We use it for picture opportunities for ribbon cuttings. It shows up well in the pictures.
