These STILL are a hit with my son 2 1/2 years later! Great gift too!Sep 05, 2010

My son was almost 4 when a relative gave him this book and set of five Monkeys. We were at a restaurant and he did not stop playing with them or the book. Right there it was it hit. But No, two years later he STILL loves these monkeys and the book!! One or more have gone to every major event, trip, restaurant in the land with us and bought us time and good behavior to boot!! I'm on today buying another set and sending the link to a friend who's grandchildren fell in love with them at our house! If you are getting one set, I would recommend getting 2 and squirreling the second set away as a gift or "secret replacement" should one of the monkeys "go missing" as they are not easy to find/replace. Just tried and true advice from this parent! (I know several reviewers have commented on the velcro not holding up but given the number of times they are used before it gives up the ghost, not a deal breaker. Also a very simple fix is pick up the "Mega Strength" sticky backed velcro at a hardware store and peel & stick a small piece on each side right over the original pieces and Bam! you are back in business in 10 seconds!)

I own a Daycare and my kids love the book "No more monkeys jumping on the bed" These monkeys helped them (us) ;) act it out...we had a great time and they love the monkeys. Thanks!

These adorable 5 little monkeys are a hit in my toddler classroom. The children love all the books and we often sing the rhymes in the bed and in the trees. They love being the children chosen to hold a monkey! Great supplement!

My daughter received these as a gift when she was 7 mos. old. They were fun then, she is two, now and they are still a favorite. They have traveled in planes, sat through dinner in many restaurants, and gone to bed with her many nights. Their little clothes are so cute and it is fun to make them hold hands. She likes that they are the perfect size for her little hands. These are my go-to gift for anyone having a first or second birthday.

The set of five monkeys is a great manipulative for practicing beat and vocal exploration. I use it with "Five Little Monkeys" (rhyme)and "Three Little Monkeys" (rhyme) and "So Say the Monkeys" book.
