 Cute, loud...but it has an off switchSep 01, 2003
The music for this toy is very loud, but there is an off switch if you want to turn off the grating sound, but still let your little darling(s) enjoy the toy. The little Eddie and Maggie that come with this are very cute. My little girl enjoys funhouse mirror piece of this toy, but the little knock over the bottles piece is not so great.

My family likes this toy but we too found the laughter more than a little annoying. While shopping one day we discovered that the ferris wheels still in the the box at the store didn't make the laughing sound. We realized that there is a small plastic tab located on the bottom of the ferris wheel that is meant to be removed when the toy is taken out of the box. This lets the toy makes the extra noises. Luckily, we still had our original packaging so we found the plastic tab, inserted it back into the slot, and taped it in place. Voila! Problem solved.

I like the ferris wheel, but its music could stand improvement. The speaker for this toy is also extraordinarily loud. The music can be turned off with the off switch. My daughter (17 mos) hasn't shown much interest in the mirror, or the knock over the cans game pieces of the toy, but she does enjoy putting the characters in and out of the ferris wheel. The Maggie and Eddie characters that come with this are really cute.

My children received this Little People set for Christmas. They love it. Not only because it's Little People (And I can say that Little People are the one toy they play with every single day!), but because this set features one of their favourie things - rides at the fair!They love the music of the Ferris Wheel and the "laughter" of the Little People (I think the music is a bit loud and there is no volume control but the kids just think it's great. My just turned one year old is not the most gentle boy, prefering to throw things around the house than sitting down and playing but this ferris wheel (as with all our Little People) stands up to all their rough play - extremely durable. A really cute addition to your Little People collection.

This is a must have toy if you purchase the Little People Fun Park because they go so well together. My son loves spinning hte ferris wheel and listening to the music. Little Eddie with his frog in hats taking tickets at the ride is too cute! I put away the bottle and mirror accessories that came with it though because they are a disappointment. They are not that cute or toddler friendly either as the mirror is too small to actually see into and the bottle game piece falls over too easily and is too small for little hands to setup.
