 Great Balancing ToyAug 11, 2010
This toy is great to help kids learn how to balance. I also like how the eggs actually sound like real eggs breaking when they hit the floor. My kids get a real kick out of that.

This is a sturdy toy with strong components.
My toddler loves just flinging the eggs to watch them break - I can't put them together fast enough. At 2.5 she's too young for it, unless you like picking up toy parts from all over the room. However what I like about it is when her older cousins are around, it is easy to engage her and them in the race and still make it competitive and fun by handicapping the older players (for example toddler walks with it, 5 year old hops, 10 yr old hops backwards on one foot etc). It's a good way to incorporate some controlled physical activity.

It is good quality and the fried eggs inside are cute. My children did wet one of those fried eggs and now it is a bit hard but I would still recommend for a fun time. The truth is my kids use them for other things instead of just the race.

My preschooler child loves to play with it. I guess it does teach him coordination. The material is durable and all in all it was a good purchase.

We really like this game. It offers the chance to learn turn-taking, cooperation, balance, and just plain fun. We ordered it in the winter, so haven't used it outside yet. The eggs don't always "break" when they hit the carpet but still lots of fun.
