My three year old daughter absolutely loves this set. It looks just like a "real" baseball and mitt and she is able to "catch" the ball herself. This is a fabulous toy for learning eye-hand coordination, throwing and catching skills! Plus she plays with it regularly making it a good investment. I would highly recommend the set!

My 4 year old is just learning how to catch a ball and this glove is the perfect size for him. The ball is lined with velcro in most places which makes the ball easier to catch. I think the age should be 3 or 4 and up though. I almost didn't purchase the glove and ball set because I thought it may be too large for him. Great toy!

I bought this glove for my 3year old. Although a bit large for his hand, it's not been a problem. Some knots have untied and some of the foam shows. This is a problem because my son wants to pull it off. Overall, a great first mitt and ball for a child but don't expect it to last very long.

I bought this for my baseball obsessed son for his second birthday. He loves it so much he sleeps with it sometimes. Good for learning to catch too.

This baseball mit is crap. I am trying to teach my son 2 year old son to catch a ball.
The velcro is cheating him from an education, How is he ever going to be a good ball player if he uses velcro. Back in the day they use to use milk cartons and make mitts out of them.
So when they actually had money to buy a gloves it became second nature. These mitts do not teach him the fundamentals of catching. It teaches him to be lazy. Stop trying to make products that make it easy on people. Difficult to use products builds character and intelligence.'
