Convenient product for price. Can't compare to non-pump air hornsAug 22, 2011

This product serves no purpose to me but to entertain myself. Throughout my use I have observed some ups and downs of this product. It is convenient enough to be disassembled and put into a glove compartment or storage. Simply construction gets it functioning again in no time. The handle locks inside of the body like a pump on lotion bottles do. It can be loud but only for extremely short durations. If you want a longer horn noise a slow pump is required and a quieter, albeit loud, sound is emitted. For the price this is a great product and it is convenient for it's ability to be quickly assembled and used while emitting a loud noise that will get the attention of anyone out of shouting distance.
I've had a few run-ins with the plastic bell portion falling out of it's place, but it can be put back in easily. Make sure you don't blow the horn out of a window, or out the side of a boat as you may lose a vital portion of this product.
Will NOT replicate the experience you get with a non-pump air horn. The noise produced in this product and a conventional air horn differ greatly.

when bill collectors call my home or repeated out of area callers, they get this loud blast right into their ear. Some have stopped calling!

I bought this horn specifically to discourage the constant calling from Rachel of Card Services, even though we are on the Do Not Call List. With a blast from this, they quickly hang up, but they will call again the next day. I am hoping for a conditioned response - like Pavlov and his dogs. Hopefully, these dogs will eventually learn to not call us. We can only hope.

Great horn for sporting events. Do not intend to use this horn in very cold winter weather as it loses it's ability to resonate, but everywhere else it is an awesome noise maker. Not quite as loud as my gas powered horn but it certainly will do the job without batteries or compressed air. If you have enough power in your breath such as myself, you can detach the pump and use your mouth to power this horn which saves space and you can carry it in a large pocket. My order came in wrong but the company corrected it very quickly and without any hassle on my part ***** :o)

I have used other air horns but this is so great. you just Push on the piston and BLAST the horn just rips.. the piston is spring loaded and pops back to go again. you can twist the push piston to lock it in place for storage or transport.
NEVER runs out of gas so you can store it on your boat and know it will work when needed to signal.
nicely built you have to try it...
