 OK puzzle, but...Jan 05, 2009

My wife and I build a lot of puzzles and enjoyed working the different areas of the puzzle with all the signs and such. But, for the extra money the quality is no better than that of a Walmart $3.97 puzzle. I was expecting much more for the money..

"Love a good book"
This is my kind of puzzle. Not too hard, tons of color and detail. I was about half way through it when my son's friends (age 15) were hanging out at our house. When they came down the stairs and saw it on the dining room table they took over and just about completed it. They would have finished it if they didn't have some place they needed to go. I put in the last 100 pieces the next morning.

I am one of those people who loves puzzles, but gets frustrated if I have to try each piece in 4 directions - as in lots of sky or water. This puzzle was great and my mom and I worked on it together and finished it up at 12:30 in the morning last night after only 2 days. The puzzle pieces are slightly larger than normal and the puzzle ends up 24 inches high by 36 inches wide. It took up most of our card table. I am looking forward to other White Mountain Puzzles.

This puzzle was fun, my puzzle group really enjoyed putting this one together. It had a lot of detail so there was always a small project to work on. Some other puzzles take hours of trying blank sky pieces one at a time because of a lack of detail (some puzzles can be about 75% monotone with very little detail.) There are plenty of diferent colors and plenty of detail in this puzzle to keep you interested and entertained. There are even a few hidden pics and strange twists in the puzzle to keep you laughing. I LOVE puzzles like these!!

This puzzle was great fun. Lots of color & detail, lots of busy-ness going on, but the picture isnt too dated or kitschy. The images made me smile frequently--who doesnt remember a county fair from some point in their life? I can see this making a wonderful framed puzzle for a family room or game room. Even much better than it looks on the top of the box.
