For the record , the manufacturer's description is incorrect as of this writing. The doll's eyes DO NOT open and close. That is the only drawback. It is a quality doll, just not properly represented at this time.

This is my second purchase. The first was for my adopted niece from Vietnam. She LOVES hers, so I bought one for a second niece, coming home from China this year. She is really a perfect size for carrying around. Her body is soft and her hair is SO cute. Great doll for little ones.

I just received the doll. She looks just like my 14 month old daughter Ashley (we are asian). I can't wait to give it to Ashley for Christmas. I would have gave it 5 stars if the doll's eyes can close and open as described. Also, she has no eyebrows. Overall, I am happy to find this nice asian doll for my daughter.

We purchased this for our 2year old granddaughter who is from China. She already had a favorite doll but this doll with Asian features quickly became her favorite. We also purchased the small bed so our granddaughter could put "baby" to bed at her own bedtime.
Pluses: appearance; quality; size
Minus: as with many products these days, we found the amount of packaging excessive

My one year old loves this doll. It is the perfect size and the bean bag body makes it easy to make her sit up. She's very cozy and I love the signature Corolle vanilla smell. There are only two things I would change on this doll. 1) Her hair is very stiff and unruly. She has gotten more and more disheveled-looking, especially since my daughter loves to take her headband on and off. 2) I wish she had eyes that closed when she laid down. It is very handy with my daughter's Corolle Tidoo doll to show her how it's time for bed because her dolly has already gone to sleep. She keeps poking at this dolls eyes, I think trying to make them close. But, overall, this is a great doll, it's non-toxic as are all Corolle dolls, and my daughter absolutely loves it.
