Better than "standard" Memory gameMay 08, 2009
By Leah
"mom of 2 boys"
We have a 2 1/2 year old and 5 1/2 year old and this has become part of our bedtime routine a few times a week (we play as a family on the bedroom floor before books) and the kids really look forward to it. We had the original Memory game and lost it somehow, so I choose this one to replace it and love it even more. The cards are VERY sturdy, the pictures are simple yet colorful, and the colored backgrounds behind each picture make them easier for kids to differentiate. (I think the other one just had a white background for every picture). It's teaching the kids to share, take turns, be patient and all that good stuff, but what I love best is that even my 2 1/2 year old understands it and enjoys playing. It has a lot less cards than the other Memory game, so I was concerned before it arrived that it might not be enough, but it's really the perfect amount. I think my kids love playing this one now because it still feels like a lot of cards but now they dont get frustrated with not being able to find matches because of too many choices (and I dont have to sort through ahead of time and pick out 20 matched sets to make a smaller game!).

Classic game. Product quality is exceptional!Apr 13, 2010
By Nuknuk
This classic game has been issued hundreds of times and by so many toy manufacturers before. But this company has been making them with exceptional quality. Each square is made of brick thick sturdy board. No sharp edges and cut very uniform. I usually don't care much about this kind of toys - I mean, if they lose pieces or damage, like a throw away or garage sale item for next year. But the way it was made, it makes me want to take care of it more or pass it on to someone else.

Great game, good qualityJan 14, 2009
By V. Manning I ordered this game for my 19 months old daughter as I wanted to introduce her to a matching game. We are 'playing' with the cards facing up instead of down. The quality of the game is very good, the pieces are thick enough that she's not bending them and we'll be able to use this game for a long time. The illustrations are simple and clear so she can easily recognize what they are. Great for learning new words.

Most durable matching game out thereDec 31, 2009
By Roderic Rinehart

There are many types of matching games, and some of the cheaper ones can be had for $5 on sale. Those other ones are flimsy and will have limited use.
THIS GAME IS EXTREMELY WELL MADE AND DURABLE. eeBoo makes tremendous products, and this one is no exception.
If you are in the market for a matching game for your young one or classroom, buy an eeBoo one, they have a few different themes to pick from, and you can't go wrong.

Wonderful!Jan 23, 2011

My 2.5 yo son really enjoys this game, and I'm super pleased with the quality. The images are colorful but classic, and the cards are very thick and sturdy. He's still too young to play this as the full memory game, but sometimes I get out 3 pairs and he can play that way. He loves to just sift through the cards in the box naming the pictures and hunting for their matches. We have a big round of applause when a match is discovered! I can see that this game will grow with him, because aside from playing memory with the full set of cards, there's the opportunity for sorting activities-- find all the animals, find all the food, etc. Simple, classic, open-ended, quality materials, and good for many ages-- highly recommended!
