I was pretty happy with what I ordered. The picture looked exactly what I got and the children I bought it for ages 5 through 11 love it. They were playing with something that their mother use to play. The only thing I would have liked was more pictures portraying the product and that you could pick what color you wanted. Overall very happy with the product. Inside the cardboard part of the packaging has instructions on how to use and play with it if you don't know how.

I always loved playing jump rope, Chinese or otherwise, so I was excited to get this and see if I could still do it. As much fun as I had remembered! Comes with directors written inside for those who need a refresher or are just learning. Cheap, easy fun that you don't need a ton of room for. I would recommend it.

Good stocking stuffer, broke about 2 months later, but worth the price for winter as it kept my kids active in a small amount of space.

I was really excited to receive this item so that I could teach my girls how to "chinese jump rope"-however i have to say that i am very unhappy with the value of it. I tried 2 times and it broke. Granted I didnt pay too much for the item but by reading the other customer reviews I thought it would be a good product. I do have to say that it arrived in less than 5 days but thats amazon for you...I love shopping with amazon! wont be buying this item again....

My 8-year-old daughter loves it. Seems well-made and definitely colorful (she got an orange one). Don't know how much they cost elsewhere, but seems to be a good price.
