Nice challenge for toddlerMar 01, 2009

My son is almost 3 1/2 and the 24 piece puzzles have gotten too easy for him. I purchased a few 46 piece puzzles and this 35 piece puzzle. The Airport puzzle is a nice challenge because the pieces are a little smaller and there's a lot going on in the picture. It's not as thick as I'd like so I'm not sure how it will hold up over time but I'm happy with it for now. I'd recommend this puzzle if your little one likes airports.

The puzzle is nice but unfortunately after the third assembly last week a couple of the "female" ends started to peel. I was very disappointed in the quality and expected much more from this manufacturer.
My grandson loves the puzzle and has a couple of other puzzles that he has put together (what seems to even a doting grandmother) hundreds of times without any of the pieces peeling. I planned on writing the manufacturer but found I'll need to have a copy of the bar code to send them, so my complaint to them will have to wait until I can have a copy made as I don't want to damage the box.
Ravensburger makes interesting kids puzzles and I'd like to buy others but right now I have reservations as to the quality of their products.

Our kids have lots of puzzles. As of now, Ravensburger puzzles are not among favorites. The pieces are lot thinner than those of Doug and Melissa's puzzles, and the cardboard is weaker, has more pores. You can't easily wash pieces like you can do with Doug and Melissa pieces. On a positive side, nice picture, very detailed, a joy for a kid who loves airplanes. Just not very durable.

Ravensburger puzzles are so durable. My kids use there puzzles all the time and the pieces hold up nicely. No bent tips or puzzle dust all over. The picture side stays firmly in place instead of peeling up like so many store puzzle. Plus it is really nice that they have nice educational options instead of character this character that.

I bought this toy to give to my grandson at Christmas I am certain he will love playing with it I based my purchase on the brand name and love the picture He loves puzzles and we just had several airplane rides
