I bought this for part of my 8 year old son's halloween costume. He loved it!!! He even slept with it! He wants to take it everywhere and show everyone!! It is of very good quality. My son is hard on everything and this toy lasts.

"The Truth is Out There"
Bought this gun for my 8 year old, and it came defective with the barrel falling out every time he shot the gun. I returned it and ordered a replacement. When it came, this time, the barrel was stuck and wouldn't move, so if you wanted the caps to go off, you would have to move the barrel manually - which defeats the purpose.
In all honesty, it's a really nice looking gun - it looks sturdy and well made, and is a nice replica toy seemingly of good quality. I don't know how I ended up with 2 duds in a row, but I did - which is too bad. I ended up ordering another Parris gun called Big Tex which is nice, but I hated the belt and holster, they were very cheap and cheesy looking.
