The junior version of the award-winning Bilibo easily matches its big sibling's versatility. In the hands of children the colorful shells turn into anything and everything. The open-ended toy stimulates the imagination and becomes an indispensable accessory for countless new games. So much smaller then expected!Jun 08, 2008

I knew the mini was much smaller then the original but I was really surprised how tiny it was. I suppose it's good for a sand or water scoop, maybe for snacks. It's not nearly as durable either. It was a kinda pricey beach toy.

Should I get the Mini or the Original?Jun 01, 2011
By Flyalien If you're asking yourself which size you should get, go with the big one. We have both. My 17mo old and my 9yo both love to sit in the big one and spin around and fill it up with treasures. The minis are truly miniature, they're only big enough for an adult's fist to fit in. Good for digging in the dirt and very cute, my kids pretend the minis are babies and the original is the Mama, but they aren't big enough to do much else with. I don't regret getting them, but I definitely wouldn't choose them over the original if I were to only get one. I wish there was a medium size, right between the two!

Bilibo miniJul 16, 2011
By jms1947 Got this for my 2 yr old grandson but the older kids also played with this. This toy is for a child with lots of imagination who enjoys quiet play sometimes. May not be the best toy for a very active child -- like my grandson!
great toyDec 26, 2010
By Aleah I got the large Bilibo for our son for the holidays. I also ordered the mini's because he LOVES play mobile people. I thought he would like to put his 'babies' in their own Bilibo. Note large one that I ordered was not the colored shown. I ordered the BRIGHT green one and it is a dark apple green. The minis I ordered are the bright colors they are shown to be. I got these so my kids would have a toy that encouraged creativity and they have!
