comfort to elder long term care patientOct 30, 2009

My mother is in long term care with dementia. This Bernie Beagle has brought her so much pleasure and comfort and company. She talks to it as if it were a real dog and sits with it in her lap. At a time in her life when there is not much to be happy about this little stuffed dog has been an angel.

While this beagle might cost a few dollar more than some others, it really is very nice. The quality is pretty good - the fur is soft, it's not overly stuffed, but not too flimsy either. The nose is a little leather-like patch, which is a nice touch. The toy can stand upright on its own.
If you have a child (or adult) that is a fan of beagles, they won't be disappointed receiving this as a gift.

We recently had to re-home our real beagle and my kids and I were heart broken. I bought both my kids these stuffed beagles to help with the transition. They both miss our beloved beagle but the stuffed animal is great! He's soft and cuddly, just what they needed. He's a good size and easty to handle. The toy is great and quite realistic.

This beautiful plush beagle reminds me of my beagle, who was the best pet I ever had. This is good for anybody who loves beagles, as they are intelligent and loving dogs.
