Great! But I miss the old colorsMar 15, 2010

Before Parents brand was renamed B. these bristle blocks were in much more common colors for kids' toys. My son absolutely adores his bristle blocks that he has had since he was 18 months. Now that he is 26 months, he still plays with them the vast majority of time that he is able.
We have two sets of these bristle blocks in the Parents brand style, with pastel shades. I've been repulsed by the new movement to B. as a brand because they insist on adding garish colors to all their toys (which were all pretty awesome already) to try to spice them up for...no apparent purpose. If you can get the older style, I recommend going for them. But if you cannot, I still would highly recommend that you get these.
We had bought Clip-Os first and were very disappointed with them. While our son did seem to enjoy them, and they were reasonably fun, they are much harder for little hands to maneuver. These bristle blocks are very similar but much more forgiving for a toddler's limited and developing fine motor skills. They are flexible and easily positionable without a great need for accuracy and strength.
Yet, as much fun as these are as a toy, they are a great learning tool for children as well!
These bristle blocks are GREAT for skillbuilding: fine motor coordination is involved in putting the pieces together; gross motor coordination is involved in the pretend play aspect (e.g. sailing the boat around the table, flying the plane around the room); color names and sorting; shape sorting; logical consequences (i.e. when I smash this on the ground, it breaks apart!); and many other creative learning efforts can come about by playing with these with your child or allowing him/her to play with them independently.
If you had limited funds for buying toys and could only afford to purchase one toy, I would highly recommend getting these. We've gotten more value for dollar on these bristle blocks than anything else we've bought for our son to date.

stackadoosJul 06, 2011
By S These Stackadoos are so amazing! They are flexable unlike cheaper ones. They really encourage creativity! My 2yr old and 5 year old love them the same! We have built a city, train, robot, etc. It comes with cicular blocks that function as real wheels. The package they come in is very sturdy and also comes with an idea book. The new colors are so vivid.

PERFECT!Dec 21, 2011
By Carine T. This is a perfect toy for a 2 and a half year old like my son. And the colors (as always with B.Toys) are beautiful (which is always a plus when you live around toys all day).

Our 19 month old daughter loves them!!!Nov 18, 2011
By Sten We purchased these after a friend's 3 yr old daughter brought her set over and they were a hit! Our 19 month old loves to build with them and they have become one of her favorite toys. When she comes home from daycare we ask her if she wants to play with her blocks and she responds almost instantly with, "Tower?". She'll then run into the living room to get started building. I will agree with some of the other reviews that the colors are a little garish, but our daughter doesn't seem to mind. That's more our issue, and it's minor.
I think it's also great that there are four different wheel pieces included with the set. She like to use these to build little cars and "drive" them around on the carpet.
Overall, I'd say that this is a great product. It stimulates her creativity and has provided hours of fun for her.

Excellent Toy!Sep 16, 2011
By Christina L Tobey I run a Child and Adol Mental health office and when I was looking for some new toys for our waiting room I found these on Clearence at target. Everyone plays with these from 4 - 18 and even some parents. At least once a week someone asks me where I got them, and on occasions I've had parents say their kids have asked to come to their appts so they could play with these. I love that the kids enjoy playing and that they spark their creativity.
