....it doesn't mean this is low! My boys LOVE this! As the boys get older I've had to let go of my ideal toys and give in to some harmless fun. The Airzooka is fun and harmless... well so long as nothing light and fragile is nearby!
It's a bit hard to work when you're small. You have to hold the handle and pull with the other hand - a bit tough. We've only had this for 3 days so I cannot say how long it will last. But it's FUN. Okay, so even I have gotten into blowing people around.
THE DOWNSIDE:
It's not so easy to aim, is kind of large, and is hard for smaller/weaker children and adults. It could possibly break something and if your kids are so inclined, it could be used to torture pets with bursts of air. Or maybe people... better warn Grandma and tell Grandpa to put extra paste on the toupee!
BUT if you're fully aware of the downside, I can still approve this fun thing.

Wow!!! The AirZooka gun does exactly--I mean EXACTLY!!!--what they say it'll do! What a terrific gift idea! It is positively incredible to experience the mega-strong ball of air that bursts from an AirZooka gun! We bought a pair for our son for his 13th birthday, and they were a total hit. (I recommend that you get at least 2 for a fun,no-holds-barred shoot-out!) My husband assembled them in a snap, and the hysteria began! I will say that pulling back the launcher is not easy, so I wouldn't recommend AirZooka for a younger kid under, say, 8, but for any other boy at any age, this is an OUTSTANDING toy!

I have a 73 inch Widescreen tv and a cat. The cat leaves the tv alone all day. Then, when I come home and start watching the tv, the cat will walk up to the tv, then turn and look at me (like he is taunting me), and then he will reach up, stretch his claws, and attempt to scratch the tv. Of course I have always jumped up and stopped him, but that gets old. This thing was a perfect solution to this problem. When he makes a move, I just shoot a harmless gust of wind at him. It doesn't hurt the cat or the tv, and there is nothing to pick up or reload.
It was kind of a pain to put it together. The pieces felt like they were going to break, especially when I was expanding the three sections. Once the screws are in, it is very sturdy.
I don't know that it would be "Fun" for a kid to play with. I suppose you could use it to scare someone when they walk around a corner. It has a good boom sound and it does shoot a good gust of wind.

We got the Airzooka Air Gun for a fun Christmas gift exchange. Luckily I had assembled it before the gift exchange because it's a bit tricky. I had a little trouble getting the parts to line up and I kept imagining that it was going to be flimsy. Once together it is solid. The air gun was the hit of the gift exchange. We finally had to tell the kids to quit shooting us. Not because the puff of air is bad, but because it makes a pretty loud popping sound when you shoot it.
The next morning we did some indoor range testing. We found that it can significantly ruffle the hair of someone 30 feet away! It feels like a ball of air has hit you. We couldn't understand how the ball of air stays so stable after traveling 30 feet.
The Airzooka Air Gun does exactly what is claimed for it.

I got this so I can blast kids in the classroom for fun or let them blast me if I make a mistake, etc...something to ease the middle school classroom tension. That said, it is kind of difficult to assemble, does not actually have a trigger, is pretty hard to aim, is HUGE in size, and the shooting involves pulling back some super heavy duty plastic material at a tension that is too difficult for any kid under the age of 8. One piece came unsnapped after about 30 in-house firings but with a little coaxing I got it snapped back in place. Regardless of all that it is still way cool and hope to have lots of fun with it in class!!
