Great Birthing Tub! Sturdy sides are comfortable!May 26, 2008
We used this pool as a birthing pool based on the review of another customer. It stood up to quite a beating, just like the reviewer said! The sides were sturdy enough to lean on while in labor, the inflatable bottom was really comfortable to sit on, and it was easy to inflate / deflate!
I can't wait to use it as a play toy for my new baby when he gets older. It's sturdy enough to use as a playpen (with supervision, of course) and then a pool when he's old enough!
Highly recommended.

This pool is great! it only took me three minutes to get it inflated with my craftsman 3gal. compressor. There is no other way of getting this things inflated. If you use hand or foot pumps, they over heat at the valve, with the compressor, no problem, cool clean air the whole time. My little sister loves her pool, and never the less my 1 year old niece, we could not get her out of it. Of course with the baby the pool was empty, the bottom of the pool inflates as well. That makes it even better to leave the baby to play, with out the fear of her getting hurt. But always with adult supervision.

 sturdy, soft bottom pool, diameter too smallSep 11, 2005
I could not find a sturdy pool with an attached slide. I had a few in the past and they only last a couple of weeks. so, this yearI looked all over for a sturdy, kiddie pool with a soft cushioned bottom. I had hoped to put a fisher price type slide into it. The diameter is way too narrow for a six year old. It is nice and deep though, as far as kiddie pools go. but only good for one child. can't use a slide. very boring. even for infants and toddlers--it would be a squeeze for more than one child, and a deep reach to pull an infant or small toddler out in a hurry. It has very sturdy thick walls for kids to lean/sit on.
It would be perfet if it was rectangular and 2-3 x the size.

Great pool for toddlersAug 16, 2005
I bought this pool from Amazon for my almost 2 year old daughter. It is nice and big with room for some friends or even myself if i feel the need to cool off. The sides are nice and high, which keep her from playing the in and out of the pool game. It's bright and colorful and can hold lots of water. There is a drain plug on the bottom making draining a breeze. Overall a great little pool.

Pool is only ok!Jun 28, 2004
Everyone else who reviewed this pool seems to love it, but I had a different experience. We used this pool last summer and put it ontop of a new tarp on our patio. It got a hole in the bottom anyway and now it is worthless. Also, if you don't have an automatic pump that works fast, this pool takes a century to fill with air using, for example, a bike pump! We are going to buy a hard plastic pool this year for our toddler.
My son did enjoy the fish on the pool, when it was usable and the sides are sturdy enough for an adult to sit on.
