Me and my roommate got some of these and had basically a weeklong shootout until we lost all the ammo and resorted to shooting cans off the TV with an airsoft Glock. Definitely worth it. There is a site that sells ammo, but I can't find the link.

My son has had this toy for a little over 2 weeks now and he loves it- He hasnt put it down since he got it. At first we had to help him load in the ammo (since the ammo is so small) and pull back the hammer. Now he can do both on his own. I really like that the ammo doesnt hurt or break anything. This gun is such a huge hit with my son Im thinking of getting the rifle for him for his 5 th b-day.

I liked it a lot but it turns out I didn't need it but if you want your child to have fun with something like this that is extremely realistic then this is the gun for you. Ammo is very hard to find though

bought this gun half priced and ammo in Academy, no doubt the best looking, all plastic (the quality is very high) toy revolver, you have to load ammo one by one and shoot like the real single action revolver, it's really fun to shoot light objects around the house. Parris also made great heavy cap guns, but if you are looking for something that shoots out of the barrel, this is it.

This is a fun toy gun to play with because you can really load 8 small rubber bullets into the cylinder and fire it just like a real revolver gun. When you fire it, the rubber bullets can hit a target from about 20 feet away!
The only negatives I can think of is that it is composed of mainly plastic parts so I am not exactly sure how durable it is.
Also the rubber bullets that this toy gun uses are really small; I mean they are just slightly bigger than a tic tac candy and they are really easy to lose or misplace.
If you do buy this toy gun then you should get several packs of these rubber bullets; the gun and the packs of 20 rubber bullets are from the Parris Manufacturing Company. Amazon.com sells the Parris 20 Shot Soft Rubber Ammo (Item Number 916) for about $5 per pack.
If you really want a good toy gun to play with or to give to someone as a gift then I definitely would recommend getting this.
I like this Parris toy gun so much that I think I will also try to buy their toy rifles and shotguns!
