Great buy for beginnersFeb 26, 2008

After watching the movie a million times, my son fell in love with all things Robin Hood. This set is a great value for beginner little ones. Also a good opportunity to teach them about safety. I will say for anyone looking at the images that although the rubber safety tips look like they are suction cups they aren't, so if you're looking for something that will "stick" to a target these tips aren't made for that

This would of been a great toy EXCEPT:
Arrows are not long enough to pull back for any kind of shot powerful enough to go anywhere or stick to anything.

Great toy, but you may want to check your local stores (Wal-Mart) for this product. By the time I paid shipping charges I could have paid less for a similar one at Wal-Mart.

The bow broke within a couple of hours and my daughter gets frustrated that the arrows wont stick to the target but she still enjoys playing with it. It is safe and a good way to see if they are ready for something more sturdy but I wouldn't get it if you had to pay for shipping because you can get an equally poor quality one at walmart.

Ordered this set for a Cub Scout Camp out...the boys loved them. I ordered 19 sets, one came broken and the packaging for these were a pain. Each Bow and Arrow set came in an individual box...I had nineteen large boxes delivered...crazy! Other than that the Bows and Arrows held up for the camp out for the 18 Scouts.
