Very high quality, richly colorful pencils!Mar 11, 2011
By M.E. Craft I bought these recently, and they have been what I have been using mainly to color in my drawings. They are rich in color, are durable, and have not had one break yet. They are very high quality in my opinion, and are up to snuff with Prismacolor pencils. They are just a cheaper alternative, with the same quality, if not higher.

Great pencils for kids and adults...Jul 19, 2011

These pencils may be a little bit more expensive than crayola, or some other bargain brand, but they are worth the slightly higher price tag. I have arthritis in my hands, so anything that makes it easier for me to hold onto is a plus. I also like that they won't roll off the table. As far as color goes, these pens are almost on par with Prismacolor Scholar, which I also own, and use frequently. My 6 year old nephew also enjoys using them, and since they aren't ridiculously expensive I don't mind if he uses them. And he thinks that the triangular shape is "cool". The only problem, and it's really not much of a problem, is they are a little hard to sharpen, due to their shape. I use an electric sharpener, and even that has a little bit of a hard time sharpening these. But once you get past the initial sharpen, it's smooth sailing. So, basically, great pencils for a reasonable price. I'm glad that I found these, and will definitely buy more when needed.

Require much pressure when coloringDec 25, 2011
By Po Po After reading the positive reviews I'm disappointed in these. They require heavy pressure to color with because the lead is too hard and doesn't color well. My granddaughter likes them because she presses heavily with crayons and pencils anyway, so I gave them to her. I didn't think that they colored any better than Crayola pencils, and they break almost as easily, and they are difficult to sharpen due to their triangular shape.
